Job Summary

Under general direction, the Coordinator III - CCCC is responsible for executing a broad range of assignments, including contract oversight, grant writing, coordination and implementation of CCCC programs, and other child and family initiatives associated with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS).

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience: Three (3) years experience in leadership and management in the public service sector with oversight of child and family service programs. Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a BA/BS degree in Sociology, Psychology, Child Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required. Candidates achieving a rating of 70% or better will qualify to continue in the eligibility screening process. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license which must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
