Job Summary
The Student Registration Technician I, under general supervision of the Student Registration Coordinator or their designee, shall perform highly technical and complex tasks, facilitate and expedite work and perform other related duties as required. Such duties and responsibilities require a high level of initiative and independent decision- making. Performs data entry, verifies information, and handles routine requests for student records, and related information. (Please read the job description before applying for this position.)
Requirements / Qualifications
The position requires the following items to be attached to the application, or the application will not be considered: 1. Resume 2. Letter of Reference (optional) 3. Proof of Highest Level of Education . Two years secretarial and/or clerical experience. Two years of secretarial and/or clerical experience within an educational organization is preferred. . Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred . High School Diploma required . Evidence of the ability to type 50 net wpm . Four years of increasingly responsible full-time experience at a level comparable to a school secretary or higher is required or two years as an Administrative Assistant I in a School District . The ability to use the School Information System (i.e. PowerSchool) . The ability to communicate with a diverse group of people on a daily basis . Possession of a valid California driver's license
