Job Summary
Job Summary
The Case Manager works under the immediate supervision of the Foster and Homeless Youth Program Director. The Case Manager works directly with foster and homeless youth in grades TK-12, foster parents, guardians, and biological parents. Acts as a liaison between teachers, school staff, social workers, and caregivers. The Case Manager provides education, referral, and advocacy to improve the academic performance of foster and homeless youth. Supports caregivers in navigating the educational system.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Equivalent to high school graduation and one year of college-level education, or equivalent training in the field of social work or related field • Two years of experience working with youth in an educational setting PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • College degree in social work or a related field • Four years of experience working with youth in an educational setting THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION:
