Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise the daily operations and activities of the Human Resources department; serve as a technical resource to District personnel, applicants and the public regarding personnel functions; train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.

2425-27 (Promotional/Open) ***THIS RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS PROMOTIONAL/OPEN. TWO ELIGIBILITY LISTS WILL BE ESTABLISHED (PROMOTIONAL AND OPEN) WITH CANDIDATES ON THE PROMOTIONAL LIST CONSIDERED FIRST *** An examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for the position of Supervisor, Human Resources in order to fill existing and future vacancies. This position is full-time, 8 hours per day, 260 paid days per year. The eligibility list will be valid for 6 months or until exhausted (whichever comes first). All testing will take place at La Mesa – Spring Valley School District's Education Service Center, 4750 Date Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942 (Phone: 619-668-5700) unless notified otherwise. Test starts promptly at the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be admitted. Candidates will be required to present valid photo identification prior to sign-in. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: A completed application for employment must be received in Human Resources by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. Please note: If having issues with Internet Explorer, try Firefox. Faxed materials are not acceptable. Oral Merit Exam: TBD Merit exam is for those who have submitted a classified application and meet minimum qualifications. The more well qualified candidates will be invited to the Oral Merit exam by appointment only.
