FCUSD is seeking a passionate and experienced Science Lead Teacher to join our dynamic Curriculum and Instruction team. The Science Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of K-12 science learning in our district. This individual will lead efforts to integrate the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), promote evidence-based teaching practices, ensure equitable grading, and facilitate the collaborative process of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). The ideal candidate will be a visionary educator with a deep commitment to student success and a collaborative spirit.

Education: Tenured teacher with a minimum of five (5) years of classroom teaching experience and consistently positive evaluations. An advanced degree, National Board Certification, or specialized training is desirable. Credential: Valid California Teaching Credential with relevant subject matter with English Learner Authorization (or CLAD).
