Elementary Classroom Teacher Stanbridge Academy is seeking a qualified, energetic, engaging Elementary teacher to join our growing K-12 school community. Stanbridge students present a diverse set of learning needs. We will give preference to candidates with previous training, work experience and/or credentials in Special Education. Essential Functions: Develop and teach engaging intervention lessons with embedded accommodations Ability to work collaboratively and independently with the elementary team Excellent classroom management skills Demonstrate commitment to working with a diverse community and experience and interest in differentiated instruction Demonstrate thorough knowledge of subject matter, and effectiveness in teaching Be flexible, motivated, confident, and professional Participate in community events and contribute to the school culture Qualifications and desired characteristics: CA Multiple Subject Teaching credential in Special Education/or Education Specialist Demonstrated ability of managing student data with confidentiality Excellent listening, speaking and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively Openness to feedback and improvement Commitment to supporting and further developing a strengths-based approach to learning at Stanbridge Academy Stanbridge Academy is a caring, inclusive K-12 school for students with mild to moderate learning differences and social communication disorders. Stanbridge Academy is seeking qualified candidates for its Elementary Division. We seek an energetic, engaging individual to join our elementary team as a 5th grade teacher. Stanbridge students present a diverse set of learning needs. Hands-on, project based learning experiences paired with systematic, differentiated instruction enables them to realize their potential. We seek teachers with whom that approach resonates. As Stanbridge expands its technology profile, the integration of assistive and educational technology into the learning/teaching process is an area for growth we hope all new teachers will take on.
