Hours: 2:00-5:30 M, T, Th, F and 1:00-5:30 Wednesday (20-24 hrs a week) Assist in the After School Program, work with students of various grade levels, assisting students in homework assignments or projects, assist in supervising students during play time. 1135 Westridge Parkway, Salinas, CA 93907 T: (831) 424-9003 F: (831) 424-9005 www.oasischarterschool.org Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Experience working with children preferred CPR/First Aid Must pass DOJ background check (upon employment) Education and Experience: High School Diploma required Prefer a minimum of two years of college, with coursework in Child Development, Psychology and/or Education preferred* Experience working with school aged children in a school setting Interact with and maintain cooperative relationships with all levels of staff and the public Communicate effectively in oral and written English language Physically participate in activities in and out of the classroom Maintain confidentiality and discretion Provide effective supervision and instruction in coordinators absence Physical, mental, and emotional stamina to meet the needs of a rigorous school environment. Assist after school program students with their homework assignments, cooking classes, and any other assisgned duties by the directors of the program. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday from 1-4 p.m.
