Job Summary
Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking a self-starting individual with a strong background in procurement services, contract development, and purchasing to apply for the Procurement Services Coordinator position. Under general direction, plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in the procurement of services, supplies, equipment, and operating systems; assists in the development and implementation of purchasing and contract policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter verifiable college coursework units in business administration, contract administration, contract law, public finance, or other field closely related to the job requirements of the classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Three years of experience in contract development, contract administration, and purchasing, for a wide variety of services and/or materials.
