Saint Eugene Cathedral School is a parish school serving approximately 100 students in grades K-8 in Santa Rosa, California. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange in 1953, Saint Eugene Cathedral School exists to form and educate our students' spirits, minds, and bodies. Our teachers collaborate to educate our students to a high standard, to be PEARLS: People with strong character, Effective communicators, Active Christians with a Catholic Vision, Responsible citizens, and Lifelong learners. We are looking for a First Grade teacher to round out our school community. This contracted teaching position includes full benefits: medical, dental, vision, individual retirement, employer contribution for retirement after 12 months of service, life insurance, and paid sick leave. Main Responsibilities: -Support Saint Eugene Cathedral School’s mission, and philosophy -Prepare, deliver, and assess lessons/units based on Curriculum Guidelines -Document student learning and report regularly to administration and parents -Collaborate with other teachers -Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, students, and parents -Supervise students inside and outside of the classroom -Perform all other duties outlined in our Faculty Handbook
