Requirements / Qualifications
Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance. License and Certificate Requirements: - Possession of a valid Class A or B California Motor Vehicle Operator's License. - Possession of a California School Bus Driver's Certificate with no restrictions. - Possession of a First Aid Certificate or Passage of the California Highway Patrol First Aid Test. - Possession of a valid CPR card. - Possession of a Medical Certificated (Form DL 51 and DL 51A). *****We will also pay for your classroom and behind the wheel training.****************

Bus Driver
Under general supervision, operates school buses in the transportation of students over designated assignments and routes and on field trips; washes, sweeps, refuels and performs safety checks and inspections on assigned vehicles; and performs related duties as assigned.
A valid California Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement, a good driving record and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy. A valid Special School Bus Driver’s Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. Possession of a Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate.
We will pay for your classroom and behind the wheel training to secure your class B driver's license with a passenger endorsement.
