Job Summary
The Student Support Specialist understands and demonstrates Le Grand Union High School District’s vision and mission for serving families, schools, and the community. Under the direction of the assigned administrator and the Wellness Counselor, the Student Support Specialist will provide development, implementation, and management of wellness promotion and education, prevention, and early intervention programs to support positive social, emotional, and behavioral learning environments. This position will assess student, staff, and school needs to coordinate and develop student and family support services, resources, and partnerships with community agencies.
