MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a library or similar instructional setting. College level coursework in library science curriculum or equivalent is desirable. Relevant experience, education, certificates and/or licenses may be substituted.
SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be screened and evaluated to ensure application is complete, certifications are attached, and applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a written exam for all qualified applicants. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 70% or higher will be placed on an eligibility list and the top three ranks of candidates will receive a departmental interview. Additional interviews will be conducted in rank order until all open positions are filled as vacancies occur. All examinations are based on the job description for the position. Job descriptions are available on the District website, Personnel Commission, or Human Resources. The exam for this recruitment will take place online via e-Skill on September 20-22, 2024.
