QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a closely related field; • Five years of increasingly responsible professional accounting, school business management experience preferred; • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience and organization-level budget development responsibility; • Successful experience demonstrating tact, courtesy, positive attitude, and maintaining cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work. OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer, plan, direct, implement, and report on budgetary, accounting, and other fiscal functions. Manage and supervise the work of a team of business services staff. Perform other related duties as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and manage the District budget including all income and expenditure accounts, funds, and account groups; • Supervise the recording and maintenance of all financial transactions; • Plan, organize, supervise, and report on the preparation of financial and statistical reports; • Manage and coordinate annual financial and other audits; • Maintain relationships with outside agencies and organizations relating to budget, accounting, and other fiscal matters; • Plan, organize, recommend, and implement budgetary, accounting, and other fiscal procedures; • Perform internal audits; • Prepare data for financial projections, research studies, and negotiations; • Prepare, file, and manage mandated cost claims and other financial claims and reimbursements; • Assist budget managers in developing and managing budgets; • Supervise, train, and develop staff; • Assist the Chief Business Officer with other tasks as assigned. SPECIFIC DUTIES: • Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance of financial and statistical reports; • Implement all phases of budgetary, accounting, and fiscal procedures; • Effectively manage and develop staff; • Advise colleague
