Any combination equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field (with Early Childhood Education background, credit hours, or experience) plus three to five years of relevant work-related experience that includes supervision or management; or any equivalent of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Hold or be eligible for the Child Development Program Director Permit. Applications are screened to determine minimum qualifications; qualified applicants will be notified of the test date, time, and place. Testing may include written, oral, performance, or other evaluation methods appropriate to measure the knowledge and skills required. Applicants must pass all tests to be further considered in the hiring process.
This Coordinator position is a specially funded (categorical) classified position, as provided in Education Code 44909.
