BASIC FUNCTION: Positions in this class report to a Lead Day Custodian and/or site Principal. They are to work independently; maintain a safe and sanitary environment of school facilities and assist with the same grounds surrounding assigned facilities. General supervision is received from the Principal and/or Lead Custodian, at the assigned location. An incumbent oversees one or more custodians assigned to late afternoon and evening shifts, performs essential functions and other related work as required. REQUIREMENTS: TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in school custodial work, building maintenance, construction or similar work: or any combination of training and or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
