Job Summary
Bookkeeping for St. Anthony’s and St. Helen’s Schools - Process vendor payments and maintain vendor files - Record deposits and maintain associated backup documents - Record diocesan auto-debits and other electronic transactions - Perform bank statement and balance sheet account reconciliations - Data entry-monthly payroll & benefits into QuickBooks - Managing PTO Accounts-Greater Giving and FACTS Giving - Meetings with PTO/monthly reports - Manage cash transactions PTO sponsored events
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements - BA/BS degree preferred with an emphasis on Accounting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church - Knowledge of and ability to learn essential accounting software. - Familiarity with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis tools. - A general understanding of the main accounting principles, such as accruals and revenue. - Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy. - Effective verbal and written communication skills.
