Under the supervision of the Principal, assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in an assigned classroom; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; provides routine clerical support and perform related work as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children in an educational or organizedsetting.Incumbents are encouraged to participate in courses, seminars and workshops in the area of instructional services, psychology or guidance.

We have 4 Instructional Assistants for General Education positions open. During the application process you will check which school(s) you are interested in. - Beacon Park (1) - 25 hours/week - Canyon View (1) - 25 hours/week - Meadow Park (2 total)- (1) 19.5 hours/week and (1) 25 hours/week During the application process you will select the school(s) you are applying to. This posting is for in-district candidates only that have passed their 6 month probationary period. All Instructional Assistant positions require either a CBEST, Proficiency Test or AA degree or above. Please review the requirements of this position in the attached job description.
