Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE OF: • A proven verifiable record of positive staff, student, parent co-worker and/or administrative support and relationships. • A proven verifiable record of placing appropriate emphasis on good sportsmanship, academic excellence, positive attitudes and character. • A demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes and a commitment to holding all students and adults associated with the program to the same standards. • A long term commitment to develop and sustain a positive, winning tradition. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION • Holds a valid California Multiple Subject or Single Subject teaching credential • Experience either at the site or District level in a Leadership opportunities group. Worked closely with principal. (Indicate specific areas of leadership) • Five or more years of teaching experience JOB REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicants must complete the three state coaching requirement courses online (no charge) and must obtain a valid CPR and First Aid card (paid for by applicant). In addition, new coaches will need to provide TB clearance and fingerprints.
