Our ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of math concepts, be passionate about teaching young minds, and dedicated to fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment. Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in mathematics, aligning with curriculum standards. - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. - Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. - Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities and communicate these objectives to students. - Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. - Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback in a timely manner. - Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures in accordance with the disciplinary systems of the school. - Participate in department, school, and parent meetings, and communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs. - Keep updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods, and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities.
