General Description of Position Goals Under general supervision, interface applications and fee base data of Tops Enterprise and attendance data for the purpose of creating required district, state, federal reporting; communicates information to staff, students, the public, and other agencies; and provides information and/or direction as may be required Essential Job Duties: 1. Registers and evaluates new students to assign class placement 2. Prepares, maintains, monitors, and secures student files 3. Enters and disaggregates data as needed for state and Federal funding. 4. Maintains/verifies required records and files as required by auditors, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), California Department of Education (CDE), Desert Regional Consortium, etc. 5. Assists in the preparation, organization, and collection of testing materials, administers and monitors group testing 6. Assists teachers and staff regarding new and existing procedures for accurate data acquisition 7. Conducts quarterly core performance surveys, prepares and submits quarterly federal reports and other applicable reports 8. Retrieves various reports from various software programs 9. Assist in the coordination of English Language (EL) Civics and IET 10. Inputs English Language (EL) Civics and IET Data 11. Prepares and scans Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) tests into applicable software programs 12. Prepares and scans end of years update records and reports for Adult Education students 13. Prepares and submits year end federal and state reporting for Adult Education Block Grant (AEBG) and or Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other applicable grants 14. Inputs credits for student transcripts 15. Assists in researching and provides assistance to students in the preparation of forms for outside agencies, sends/responds to fax requests 16. Composes simple or routine letters independently 17. Collaborates with various departm

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing: TB Test Clearance Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance Successfully Pass District Assessment Certification of CASAS Accountability and Implementation for WIA/WIOA Grants Valid California Driver License Minimum auto insurance coverage as required by law All District employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Successful applicants for this position will be required to submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or request an exemption for qualifying medical or religious reasons during the onboarding process. Applicants should not present proof of vaccination until directed to do so by the District’s Human Resources Office.
