Examples of Duties Title I responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Instruction of California Music Standards (K-5) with an emphasis on music literacy and music composition. Provides targeted and differentiated strings instruction within the violin classroom with an emphasis on music literacy (reading and writing notes/music, and the integration of general literacy at it related to California Music Standards. Provide intervention for students who are not meeting grade level expectations in music literacy. Meet with teachers quarterly to inform student progress and support with music literacy instruction -Grade level teams Planning -Individual teacher Collaboration. Collaborate with other District Violin, Strings, and Music Teachers. Attend Professional Development and Meetings and Trainings around CA Music Standards, Music Literacy to General Literacy, Supporting English Learners, and General Music/Strings Instruction. Strong communication with teachers and support with parents as needed such as parent conferences, presenting strategies for parent supports at home to reinforce strings instruction . Perform related duties as assigned (Must be supplemental, not mandated or compliance). Help students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through various planned music experiences .

Minimum Qualifications: VAPA - General Music Credential (Violin/strings experience)
