Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official will plan, organize, control, direct, and evaluate the business operations of the Waugh Elementary School District; maintain the fiscal integrity and solvency of the district; assure programs are operating within the appropriate federal, state or local regulations; supervise the performance of assigned personnel; and do related work as required. The District Business Services Department supports two TK - 6th Grade Elementary Schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
College degree and/or five (5) or more years of progressive, directly related experience in budgeting, accounting and auditing, including administrative two years of managerial experience preferably in a school business environment. Must have or be able to obtain CBO certification thorough California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO). Ability to work cooperatively, positively and enthusiastically with employees, students and community.
