The school is named for a long-time member of the Elk Grove Board of Education who retired in 2000 after 22 years on the Board of Education. The school is adjacent to Monterey Trail High School. The learning community of Edward Harris, Jr. Middle School challenges ALL students to realize their greatest potential while preparing them for their future.
