Requirements / Qualifications
Must have either a 30 day sub permit or California Teaching Credential
Daily Substitute Services $210.00 per day-Elementary Schools $225.00 per day- Junior High Schools After 30 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $250 dollar bonus. After 90 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $500 dollar bonus. After 120 days of service in the District in a single school year, a substitute teacher will receive a $500 dollar bonus. Long Term Assignments When an assignment is 10 consecutive days or more, the substitute teacher will receive $225.00 per day- Elementary Schools, $240.00 per day- Junior High Schools, retroactive to the first day of the assignment. When the assignment is 30 consecutive days or more, the substitute teacher rate will be paid from the Teacher’s salary schedule, Class 1, Step 1 non-retro to the first day of the assignment.
