OPENING DETAILS Monday-Friday, 6.5 hours per day (.75 FTE) Work hours: TBD (including a 30 min unpaid lunch) Location: FACTS at Burbank Adult School SALARY RANGE: 41 (New employees to the district will begin at Step 1. Exceptions based on relevant experience pending approval) BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of special education students with a variety of severe mental, emotional and physical handicaps in a learning environment; assist assigned teacher(s) and certificated personnel with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP's); monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
