You must hold an Education Specialist credential to cover these special education long-term assignments. Important Notice about the AB2534 Section within this application:
Please make sure that you are listing ALL school's or school district's where you previously held a Certificated Substitute Teaching or Certificated Teaching position within that section of the application. IUSD will not be able to complete the hiring process until we have sent out, and received back, an AB2534 inquiry from each of your previous districts. Teaching Assistants, Instructional Assistants or Instructional Aide positions are not considered certificated and do not need to be included. Valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe) PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HOLD AN EDUCATION SPECIALIST CREDENTIAL - your application will not be considered in this pool if you do not hold the specific credential. Please apply to the general Substitute Teacher 2024-2025 posting if you hold a different credential/sub permit and are interested in substitute teaching day-to-day in our district. This application is for specific sites to find long-term education specialist substitutes, if you are an ed specialist who would like to be hired as a day-to-day sub, please also apply to my general sub posting as well - in the event that you are not interviewed for these long-term positions. Daily Rate - $180/day (over 4 hours) Half Day Rate - $115/day (less than 4 hours) Long Term Rate (goes into effect on the 16th consecutive day in the same assignment) - $220/day (full days) - $140/day (half days)
