Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Deputy Superintendent, Business Services directs, plans, develops, implements and evaluates the operations of the Educational Technology Services Department (i.e., critical data systems, telecommunications, LAN/WAN/Wireless networks, Network Operations Centers and infrastructure, and technology directly associated with delivery of instruction.) Provides for the configuration, installation, repair, training and use of electronic equipment, software, and computer peripherals. This position collaborates with Educational Services to provide the infrastructure, software and support for District’s instructional mission.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible comprehensive information/educational technology experience. Education: Equivalent to Bachelors or Master’s degree in information systems, educational technology, computer science, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university.
