BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the immediate direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Technology and Innovation or designee. The position of Assistant Director of Innovation and Data is a visionary leader responsible for spearheading educational initiatives that focus on innovation, overseeing the Aeries Student Information System, CALPADS reporting, and promoting data-driven decision-making within the school district. This role is pivotal in integrating advanced technologies and analytical practices to enhance educational outcomes and operational efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? California Administrative Services Credential ? Five year of experience in an educational setting with a focus on technology Integrations, data analytics, and program development. ? Demonstrated experience in leading or assisting with innovative technology projects in an educational or corporate environment. ? Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. ? Awareness of current trends and advancements in technology and data management. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ? Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, Data Science, or a related field. ? Expertise in Aeries Student Information System and CALPADS. ? Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. ? Ability to maintain a positive and supportive working environment ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse teams and stakeholders ? Ability to design and deliver training sessions and workshops related to technology tools and platforms ? Knowledge of the International Society of Technology of Education (ISTE) standards ? Proficiency in using and integrating various technology platforms, particularly Google Workspace and AI tools. ? Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms. ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
