Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assigned Supervisor, provide technical support in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of computer equipment, peripherals, software, and networks at school facilities, including Administrative/Warehouse and remote educational learning centers; instruct and assist School personnel in the operation of computers, peripherals, software, and related equipment; install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of microcomputer-based systems; diagnose and assist in troubleshooting LAN and WAN network problems; installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, server OS’s, services, applications, and server-network systems. This includes server prototyping, monitoring, logs, documentation, and upgrading of the OS, services, applications, and programs. Provide support the School’s email, web, and third-party applications—Troubleshoot user problems using Help Desk practices and procedures and various communication methods.
