Substitute Paraeducator - Special Education at San Ramon Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants MUST meet the Paraeducator proficiency requirement in any one of the following ways: • Complete 48 semester or 72 quarter college units (SEE NOTE BELOW) • Hold an AA or higher degree (SEE NOTE BELOW) • Pass the CBEST • Pass the District’s “ESSA - Every Student Succeeds Act” test PLEASE NOTE: If you have completed college or university coursework in an institution in a country other than the United States, you MUST obtain a FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION.

Comments and Other Information
Fingerprint & TB Clearance will be required. Paperwork for fingerprinting will be provided upon hire.
Hours and days will vary. Assignments will included special day class and 1:1 paras working with mild/mod or intensive disabled students preschool thru age 22.
