The Controller is a valuable part of the finance and leadership team and will oversee all accounting functions for the Support Office (central office), four schools, a support corporation, and an LLC at our sites within Hollister, Gilroy, Watsonville, and Hayward, California communities. The Controller will work alongside leaders at Navigator to develop and implement fiscal policies, procedures, and systems that ensure the accurate accounting of financial activity. In addition, oversee a team of accounting and payroll staff who carry out day-to-day bookkeeping activities (A/P, A/R, payroll, etc.). The Controller will also be responsible for ensuring that financial reports are created and distributed to leadership teams and external constituents (government agencies, funders, etc.) on an accurate and timely basis throughout the school fiscal year. this role will be a part of Navigator’s multi-year growth plan, which will increase enrollment by 600% over 10 years. The Controller will play a key role in the implementation of our growth model.
