Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the school principal or designee, assists with the supervision and instruction of students; performs clerical tasks; and assists students on and off campus by meeting special health care needs and developing students' daily living and behavioral skills.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma and Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or possession of an AA degree or higher; or verification of having obtained a passing score on a district-approved proficiency assessment. Knowledge of basic instructional methods and classroom management techniques; subjects including arithmetic, reading, writing, grammar and spelling; educationally related hardware and software tools.
