Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator II - Homeless Youth Services, the Homeless Children and Youth Services Program Specialist assists with tasks related to providing information, resources, and services to homeless families and youth, collection of data, and partnering with community agencies to provide support services.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma and four (4) years of experience including no less than three (3) years progressively responsible clerical, administrative, secretarial, and/or technical experience; OR - Associate’s Degree and three (3) years of experience including no less than two (2) year progressively responsible clerical, administrative, secretarial, and/or technical experience Licenses and Certifications: - Possession of an appropriate, valid California Driver’s License, and evidence of insurability - Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing and speaking Spanish by passing the MCOE Spanish Language Competency Test
