Job Summary
The Instructional Learning Specialist enhances the educational experience of enhances the educational experience of at-promise youth by building teacher capacity and deepening understanding of effective instructional practices. This role focuses on improving student outcomes through fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Emphasizing strengths, collaboration, and addressing teaching practices, the Specialist ensures excellence in ELL/Literacy instruction through modeling, co-planning, and serving as a curriculum and instructional strategy resource. Additionally, the specialist will support literacy development as a secondary focus across all student populations.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of successful teaching experience with a proven record of effective instruction with English Language Learners. Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, or a related leadership role is preferred. Valid and current California teaching credential or Education Specialist credential English Learner Authorization, BCLAD preferred Additional certifications in coaching or educational leadership are advantageous Valid California driver’s license Please send a cover letter and resume along with your completed application.

Salary: $74,263 - 95,063
Master's Stipend $1,800; Doctorate Stipend $2,000
