Requirements / Qualifications

An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Possess or be eligible to apply for a California Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit. Certificate of Achievement in Child Development-Special Education is desired. Possess a valid California Driver License and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.

Comments and Other Information

This position will be split between Stratford Elementary School in Stratford (4 hours), and Central Elementary School in Lemoore (3.5 hours) with .25 hours allowed for travel between work sites and requires a Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit.
