Job Summary

Job Summary

The Cathedral Chapel School FAMILY is looking for our next outstanding science teacher for the 2024-25 school year. With a long tradition of academic excellence, we are a smaller school, and serve our community with one teacher per grade level. Our elementary grades are self-contained, and our middle school is departmentalized. Our science teacher will serve as the seventh-grade homeroom teacher and will benefit from a newly-refurbished science lab while instructing all students in grades six, seven and eight. Remaining course load will depend on our applicant’s gifts – either teaching a foreign language (Spanish preferred), or technology to all students. Our focus at Cathedral Chapel School is on sharing our Catholic FAITH, preparing our students for the FUTURE, and making time to have FUN! If you have a love for children, the required qualifications, and the desire to create the best learning environment possible for our students, share your resume today! Our ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and team oriented. S/he will respond to students reasonably and with loving kindness, supplement materials to improve curriculum, use data to improve instruction, demonstrate flexibility with planning, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians proactively and on a regular basis.
