Job Summary
To serve under the governing board and the superintendent as the chief executive officer of the school with total responsibility to serve as site instructional leader and to manage all affairs of the school consistent with district policy and procedures, including general control and supervision of certificated and classified employees assigned to serve in the school. The future MHS Principal will continue to grow the Early College High School model adopted by the MUSD Board in 2021. They will possess a thorough understanding of dual enrollment and CTE opportunities and pathways. Additionally, the future Principal will work closely with the counseling department and staff to ensure these initiatives are implemented equitably.

Experience: Three to five years as a vice-principal or comparable administrative experience is highly desired. Demonstrated record of effective leadership and related instructional leadership experience. Successful experience as a classroom teacher and working with a diverse student population desired. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
