Requirements / Qualifications

1. Copy of HS diploma or transcripts showing graduation date/GED Certificate, or TRANSCRIPTS verifying high school graduation date. 2. Transcripts showing the date Bachelor’s Degree with a MAJOR in Accounting or Business Administration was awarded. TRANSCRIPTS ONLY FOR PROOF OF BACHELORS DEGREE. Copies of BA/MA certificates/diploma are NOT ACCEPTABLE. 3. Typing Certificate showing 30 wpm or more in a 5 minute exam. (NO ONLINE EXAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED).

Minimum of three (3) years of responsible accounting experience involving bookkeeping, account records, financial processes and reporting with responsibility for general ledgers, special funds, payroll, budget conformity, and governmental reports. 3. One (1) year in a responsible accounting position within a public school district or county office of education or comparable agency is desirable.
