Job Summary
The mild/mod special education teacher has the specific responsibility to plan and implement a learning environment which meets the unique needs of our special education students in an Independent Study virtual setting; will instruct special education students in accordance with established policies and procedures; develop and implement IEP goals, and assess students, assign duties to classified personnel, oversee the classified staff's interaction with students, provide input to the Administration concerning the performance of students assigned to their classroom or program, and perform other duties as required by law. This is a full-time remote position; the employee must reside in California.
This position is eligible for CalSTRS.
Some travel will be required on occasion for in-person events within California.
