* * * OPEN UNTIL FILLED * * * LYNWOOD ALUMNI CENTER * * * DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of Secondary or his/her designee, the Instructional Lead – College and Career Readiness will directly support students and alumni by mentoring and facilitating college and career guidance. The Instructional Lead ensures communication and activities that strengthen the goals to prepare every student and alumni for college or career. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: ? California Pupil Personnel Services Credential ? Expertise in A – G Graduation Requirements ? Expertise in career opportunities within the community ? Expertise in college application, Promise Programs, and FAFSA process ? Strong oral, written, and customer service communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Facilitate the intellectual and professional development of staff to support a college and career readiness environment. ? Gain commitment from stakeholders to support the mission and vision of the Lynwood Unified School District. ? Create positive relationships with students, parents, the school, district and community to support student college and career readiness. ? Promote a school climate maximizing research based instructional strategies that engages all students in the pursuit of college and career readiness. ? Fluent in Spanish.
