Job Summary
The Program Manager Leadership Development reports to the Director of the Leadership and Outreach Department, Education Support Services (ESS) Branch. The Program Manager Leadership Development will support the development of leadership capacity across San Bernardino County for current and aspiring administrators. This role requires a deep understanding of leadership frameworks, strategies for leading in current educational conditions, culturally responsive school leadership, and comprehensive support for school administrators and district/school leaders. The Program Manager Leadership Development will work collaboratively with administrators to enhance leadership effectiveness and align efforts with current state and national educational standards and initiatives, including federal comprehensive improvement and other programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Valid California Clear Administrative Services Credential; • Valid California Clear Teaching Credential; • Master’s Degree in Education or closely related field from an accredited institution. • Five (5) years of experience working as a site, district, and/or county office of education administrator. • Experience working with schools and/or districts through California Assessments of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Differentiated Assistance (DA); • Experience in site or district plan development.
