Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required Two years of urban teaching, childcare, child development, or child-centered community organization experience (highly desired) Experience working with youth from historically under-served communities (highly desired) Restorative Practices experience (highly desired) Spanish or Korean Fluency (highly desired) Bilingual Spanish or Korean (highly desired) Strong oral and written communication skills, including advocacy skills Ability to connect and build relationships with students and their families. Experience using data-management systems. Experience working in a fast-moving environment; crisis management experience
Assistant Dean of Restorative Practices Traits: Belief that every child deserves a safe, equitable, calm, and rigorous learning environment, which prepares them for college and life beyond. Salary: BSS salary is based on experience and education, and was created in consideration of the longer school day and school year.
Status: Full Time
Start Date: An exceptional candidate will assume a full-time role no later than July 2024.
Location: Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA
