Requirements / Qualifications
All qualified individuals may apply online OR print and complete the application available at www.avdistrict.org. A complete chronological resume must be included with either the online or paper application. Printed applications may be submitted at the District Office or via email (emorfin@avhsd.org) or fax (661-952-5466). You are strongly encouraged to also attach copies of letters of recommendation (professional preferred), degrees, certificates, and diplomas demonstrating relevant training and/or education. Incomplete or late packets will not be considered. Be advised that any falsification and/or omission of information may be sufficient cause for immediate termination.

There is NO guaranteed employment processing time. Substitutes are hired strictly on an as-needed basis. Sub work does NOT “roll over” or “turn into” permanent employment. Sub work is strictly temporary, on an as-needed basis of ZERO to 40 hours per week and is subject to end at any time at District discretion. There is NO guaranteed amount of work.
