See attached Job Description for additional requirements. Instructional Setting: Santa Ana Virtual Academy offers a fully online instructional option for students in a virtual learning environment. Teachers connect with students remotely from the school site. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Lead professional development sessions on virtual teaching best practices and provide ongoing support to teachers. 2. Collaborate with classroom teachers to create engaging and interactive virtual lessons. 3. Conduct regular assessments of virtual teaching methods and provide feedback for improvement. 4. Stay updated on the latest trends and research in virtual education to enhance teaching strategies. 5. Foster a positive and inclusive virtual learning environment for all students. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. In-depth understanding of virtual learning platforms and tools such as Canvas, Google Classroom, and other district-supported resources. 2. Proficiency in utilizing AI technology to enhance student learning experiences. 3. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and staff in a virtual setting. 4. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students in an online environment. 5. Experience in developing and implementing a virtual learning curriculum that aligns with the state standards.
