Job Summary
The School Nurse position is responsible for carrying out the instructional goals and/or objectives for the school wellness, nutritional, and health programs. The School Nurse will work with principals, teachers and support staff in developing health service programs designed to meet the specialized needs of each student.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a nursing degree Valid California Health Service School Nurse Credential Valid California Audiometrist Certificate Valid Public Health Nursing Certificate Valid Registered Nurse License Experience or background with inter-agency work, such as probation, mental health, social work, or other related agencies
