Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Risk Management and Transportation, the District Compliance Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and coordinating the Districts policies and procedures surrounding the prevention of and response to all manner of complaints. The District Compliance Coordinator shall manage and oversee all compliance-related matters, including investigating complaints including, but are not limited to, Title IX, VII, V, District Workplace Violence, uniform complaints, personnel complaints, Special Education, harassment and discrimination, retaliation, and whistle blower concerns. This position is intended to ensure that MUSD’s policies and procedures promote a culture of ethical and compliant behavior, promotes the District’s commitment to equal opportunity and fosters a discrimination-free climate in all programs and activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. criminology, law, education, compliance, sociology, psychology);
Proven experience of three (3) years in compliance, complaints, investigations or a related field;
Supervisory or management experience desired, Bilingual; English and Spanish desired
Certificates: Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability
Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Check and TB Clearance
