Job Summary

Job Summary

- The Salinas Union High School District is accepting applications for these 25 Itinerant Teacher vacancies.   The successful candidate will be assigned by the SUHSD as needed. - The District will not employ any of these employees as a substitute during the period of time outside of this established work year. If any of the individuals are on the sub-finder call list, the District will not retain them outside the period covered by this Agreement. Also, there shall be no Extra Work Agreements (EWA) issued during the contra - The successful candidate may be offered a Categorically Funded/Temporary (less than 75% of the School Year) contract for the 2024-25 school year. - The Itinerant Teachers shall participate in the health and welfare plans of the District pursuant to Article XII of the Agreement during term of employment. - Please get to know our District and its schools by visiting our website. - Ideal candidates will immerse themselves in SUHSD culture and traditions, therefore they must be willing to coach and/or be club advisors.
