Under the direction of the Director of Leadership and School Systems the Program Coordinator II, Teacher Residency will be responsible for realizing a vision for equity through the preparing community oriented transformational teachers who develop the skills to become equitable and reflective practitioners. The Program Coordinator II, Teacher Residency will oversee and execute the Teacher Residency Program for the Monterey County Office of Education, which includes engaging in long term strategic planning, managing daily operations, connecting with clinical faculty in course planning, instruction, and fieldwork supervision.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree in education, public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university - Minimum five (5) years of experience in education, or a related field - Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership position Licenses and Certifications: - Valid California Teaching Credential - Possess an appropriate California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability
