Holy Cross, a Catholic junior high school in Fresno, CA is seeking a qualified PE teacher. To conduct instructional classes in all assigned subjects in accordance with the school mission statement, philosophy, policies, and curriculum. It is essential for the teachers to develop within students the necessary life learning tools of communication, problem solving, decision making and creativity, as well as developing an informational framework and moral values formation that will prepare the student for living in the twenty-first century.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants are expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The Applicant must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Applicants should have a Single Subject Credential with preference given to candidates in the process of receiving or have a Master's Degree. This is a part time position and salary is commensurate with experience and level of post-graduate education.
