DEFINITION: A Substitute Teacher is employed on an on-call day-to-day basis. Substitutes are expected to fulfill all functions of the regular teacher in a satisfactory manner under the direction of the Site Administrator, the Lead Personnel Agents or Designee.
Requirements / Qualifications
CREDENTIAL: Possession of Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university and eligible for a Substitute Teacher permit. SALARY: $205 Per Day - $250 Long Term - $225 Credentialed/Retired Teachers - $250 Credentialed/Retired Teachers Long Term - $225 Special Ed - $250 Special Ed Long Term (all pay ranges through 06/30/2025)

A complete application file consists of: • A completed certificated EDJOIN application; • An up-to-date Resume • Three Professional Letters of Recommendation signed and dated within the last two years (typed signatures will not be allowed) • Proof of Bachelor's Degree or higher (Unofficial Transcripts for application/Official Transcripts required for onboarding) from an accredited college or university to evaluate if candidate meets Basic Skills Requirement for permit • Proof of valid credentials held; passing CBEST scores or proof of Basic Skills Requirement for Emergency Permit eligibility is required
